wooha!

so tonight i ordered special boy and i some new nokia cell phones and a sprint pcs cell phone plan. yay! i've never had a real cell phone before; i mean, years ago mom got some free phones through aaa but they were big and ugly and they weren't for daily use, just for "emergencies". whatever. the damn thing weighed about a pound, don't know why i'd want to be carrying that around all the time. but, our new phones are pretty, and with a special offer that expires on the 31st, they were free! free baby! so ha. but yeah, that's what i did tonight.

and yakow that bracelet i was talking about earlier? where i only needed the cat5 cable? well, during that boring web class i realized i should hop over to ebay and check out the supply of cat5's there. and there's a lot! i did a buy it now auction for two 100 foot rolls of cat5 cable at $2 each, and realized only after the auction that to actually fully "win" the auction, the winner had to pay *immediately* for the item(s). so fine, i went to do that. the total was $19.08 (yeah, the cables were only $4 but they're heavy!). i had $17.34 in my paypal account. and i couldn't transfer funds from my bank account cuz guess what, i hadn't set up my new bank account(s) with my paypal account yet. so i emailed the seller and told him what was going on and that i'd still like the cable, but would have to wait a while to pay. he gave me the option of sending a money order, but i'll just connect my bank account to paypal tonight and do another of their buy it now auctions--they seem to only sell rolls of cat5 cable. intriguing but true. so be warned! new bracelets are on the way! now if only i could package them in petri dishes like the ones on thinkgeek...
